Charter Installation Ceremony

The first ever Rotaract club of Medical students in Sri Lanka was ceremoniously installed and recognized on the 1st of March 2019, under the sponsorship of the Rotaract club of Colombo North.

This inaugurating step in a long and prosperous journey-to-be was graced by many dignitaries including the Chief Guest; President of Rotary Club of Colombo North, Rtn. Lochi Gunarathna, Guest of honor; Professor Jennifer Perera , Dean Faculty of Medicine University of Colombo and many other representatives from the Rotary movement and the Rotaract movement.

Charter President Rtr. Tushani Ranawaka was collared and was handed over the gavel, after which the board of Directors was introduced by her.

The event proceeded with utmost success, adhering to the customary formalities and the evening came to a conclusion, embarking on the inception of an expedition to create lasting changes in the community as leading professionals in future.
